Hermès’ Barenia Birkin 35 is a gorgeous white-stitched top handle in a larger size that is beginning to hold sway again! Gold-tone hardware appears in the feet, plaques, turnlock, padlock, and keys kept in the leather clochette. The flap opens to tonal-leather lining with one zipped and one slide pocket and the dual rolled handles have a 4-inch drop. Previously loved and stamped with a G in a square, it comes with a box and has wear on the corners and edges, marks on the leather and handles, scratches on the metal, and it needs an airing out. This blast from the past could use a spa visit unless you like the very covetable look patina-ed Barenia, originally used for saddle-making, delivers!
